Precautions for using a pit-type annealing furnace:
1. Before drying in the annealing furnace, use a specialized meter to measure the resistance between the electric heater and the furnace shell. Short circuits are not allowed. After drying, use a 500V meter to test the insulation resistance; the resistance value should not be less than 0.5 megohms. Before use, always check the insulation of the power connector, power cord, and the entire circuit.
2. Check that the automatic power-off device for the annealing furnace door is intact to prevent electric shock. Do not touch the electric heater when loading and unloading products to avoid accidents in case of automatic power-off device malfunction. If the annealing furnace's operating voltage exceeds 36 volts, a good grounding device is required.
3. The pit-type annealing furnace's automatic temperature control device ensures correct combustion curvature according to the specified heating curvature. Pay attention to the normal use of various measuring instruments.
4. Keep the furnace clean regularly. Remove iron oxide and other debris after get off work. Cleaning must be done after the power is disconnected and the furnace temperature has dropped. 5. Furnaces using explosive gases or releasing harmful gases must have explosion-proof devices or other safety measures.
