The vacuum nitriding furnace is a periodic operation furnace, mainly used for surface strengthening treatments such as nitriding, multi-element co-diffusion, low-temperature austenitic nitrocarburizing, oxy-nitrocarburizing, steam oxidation treatment, low vacuum tempering (or aging) of hardware products such as steel parts, molds and measuring tools.

The depth of a large vacuum nitriding furnace can reach 15 meters and the diameter can reach 5 meters. The shell of a large vacuum nitriding furnace is welded by steel plates and steel sections, and is divided into multiple layers and multiple supports. The furnace body has high strength to support the nitriding treatment of super-large and super-heavy workpieces.

The furnace lining is made of ultra-lightweight, high-strength 0.6g/cm³ energy-saving refractory micro-bead bricks. The outer layer of the furnace lining is sandwiched with high-purity ceramic fibers and filled with expansion insulation powder. The heating element is spirally wound by high-temperature resistance wire and installed on the shelf bricks of the furnace lining. A stainless steel vacuum tank is installed in the furnace. The nitriding furnace mouth adopts an energy-saving furnace lining double water-cooled furnace tank cover and a vacuum rubber seal. A double-headed stainless steel dripper is installed on the furnace cover for dripping methanol, which is easy to operate and highly safe. The furnace cover is equipped with a sampling tube, an exhaust pipe, and an input pipe on the upper side wall of the furnace tank for ammonia input. The furnace tank and the furnace cover are sealed with water-cooled vacuum rubber and equipped with compression bolts. The exhaust gas in the nitriding furnace is discharged out of the furnace through the exhaust pipe.

The large nitriding furnace has greatly improved thermal insulation, furnace temperature uniformity, sealing, and nitriding speed in terms of depth or diameter, and the temperature atmosphere in the nitriding furnace is uniform.

1. Positive pressure, negative pressure, positive and negative pressure pulse processes are adopted. The furnace pressure can be adjusted at a fixed time and pressure, and the quality of the infiltration layer is high. For parts with deep holes, long shafts, long tubes, micropores, blind holes, slits, and splints, the inner and outer walls can obtain a uniform layer, which is a scientific research achievement with high practical value.

2. Compared with conventional nitriding, the nitriding layer has higher quality, faster nitriding speed, shorter cycle, and saves 30-50% of raw materials.

3. Equipped with intelligent temperature control instrument and PLD adjustable control system, the temperature and process parameters in the furnace can be controlled more accurately.

4. Equipped with vacuum ventilation, positive and negative pressure automatic control system, waste gas water treatment, no environmental pollution.

5. It retains all the functions of the original positive pressure nitriding furnace and is an upgraded product of the positive pressure nitriding furnace.
